Career Highlights:

I was a classroom teacher in Canada, Japan and the U.S. for 19 years before joining the faculty of The University of Arizona as a Learning Services Coordinator. In addition to my scholarly work, I am a school trustee (Saline Area Schools) and serve on the Board of Directors for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

  • What do students learn in your classes? What is the expected outcome?

    Students learn the theoretical, philosophical and historical perspectives that will help them plan for technology-enhanced, student-centered learning in their classrooms.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    After a year of using technology to connect my high school students to the world, I am now training teacher candidates in the most effective ways of using technology to enhance their teaching going forward.
